The AMT Skills Development Club (AMT SDC) helps students develop practical, industry-oriented skills and provides a strong platform for their professional growth. The club organizes training sessions, seminars, and workshops on professional and industry-related topics, connecting academic learning with the ready-made garment (RMG) and wider apparel industry.
The club is advised by Md. Tajbir Husain Sojib, Head of the Department of Apparel Manufacture & Technology, with Mohammed Saiful Islam leading as President and Sumon Sheikh as General Secretary. Beyond training and mentorship, AMT SDC arranges monthly sports and recreational activities to promote teamwork and well-being, and works to create internship and job opportunities for AMT graduates through industry and career networks.
