Laboratory Facility

The Department of Apparel Manufacture & Technology (AMT) operates dedicated laboratories that give students hands-on experience across the apparel production cycle — from pattern making and garment construction to digital fashion design.

Pattern Lab

Pattern Lab is a practical learning facility where students gain hands-on experience in pattern making and garment development. It helps students develop technical skills in pattern drafting, pattern manipulation, grading, sample making, and fit analysis, preparing them for professional careers in the fashion industry.

Sewing Lab

Sewing Lab is a practical learning space where students learn and practise garment construction using sewing machines and equipment. It helps students develop skills in sewing techniques, finishing, quality control, and sample garment production.

A Computer Lab is a practical learning space where students develop digital fashion design skills using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. It helps students create fashion illustrations, technical drawings, presentation boards, and digital product development (PD) materials.
