The Department of Apparel Manufacturing Technology (AMT), Sonargaon University (SU), organized a field trip under the Aesthetic and Art course on 22 November 2025. Students visited Nawabganj Jamidar Bari, Judge Bari, and Khelaram Datar Bari, gaining valuable insights into cultural heritage, historical architecture, and their influence on fashion and design.
As part of the Aesthetic and Art course, students visited Nawabganj Jamidar Bari, Judge Bari, and Khelaram Datar Bari on 22 November 2025. The educational tour enabled students to explore Bangladesh's rich architectural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, decorative motifs, historical artifacts, and cultural landscapes. Faculty members guided students in understanding how heritage architecture, historical aesthetics, and traditional artistic elements influence contemporary fashion design, textile motifs, color inspiration, and creative thinking. The visit encouraged observational learning and strengthened students' appreciation of cultural heritage.
